Frequently Asked Questions
Is the automotive window tint warranty transferable?
Yes! XPEL PRIME™ Automotive Window Film warranties are transferable and will continue with your vehicle even when ownership changes. This adds value when selling your vehicle.
What happens if I move to a different location?
Your XPEL warranty is valid at any authorised XPEL installer across Australia and worldwide. If you relocate, you can have warranty service performed by another authorised installer in your new location.
How long does the claims process take?
Most claims are reviewed within 2-3 business days. If approved, we’ll schedule the warranty work at a mutually convenient time. The actual repair timeline depends on the scope of work required.
Do I need to return to EverClear for warranty service?
We prefer to handle all warranty work for our customers, but if you’re unable to contact us or have relocated, you can work with another authorised XPEL installer or contact XPEL directly.
What if my vehicle is in an accident?
Damage from accidents, collisions, or impacts is not covered under the warranty. However, you can have your film replaced at normal retail pricing, and the new installation will receive a new warranty.
Can I wash my car immediately after tinting?
Wait at least 3-7 days before washing to allow the adhesive to fully cure. Avoid automatic car washes with abrasive brushes. Use touchless car washes or hand washing with soft materials only.
How do I know if I have a warranty-covered defect?
Common warranty-covered defects include bubbling, peeling, discolouration, fading, or cracking that occurs without any external cause. If you’re unsure, contact us for an assessment.
